This time there were 320 votes from the readers of our website, which is 79 more than last year. A complete novice of F1 won for the first time with a substantial advantage of 119 before the others. In the 4 years noone has received so many votes yet.
The award is, like every year, represented by a cup manufactured in the famous glassworks RÜCKL CRYSTAL a.s in Nizbor. A part of the prize is also a certificate confirming the driver's victory.
The awarding ceremony took place on July 18, 2008 in the afternoon again at the German GP, this time in Hockenheim. The award was presented by Tomas Leixner and photographed by Jiri Krenek. Another year of The Climber of the Year in F1 2008 has been running on www.constructorsf1.com.
